What’s your stage name and where are you from?

Oracle MkE – Milwaukee, WI

What’s the story behind your stage name?

Oracle means someone with divine wisdom who offers it to others. MkE is an acronym for Milwaukee (MKE).

Describe your musical journey in three sentences.

I got an early influence from some cousins that rapped and had equipment when I was young. So that’s how it got started then I started writing more and more and eventually started recording in high school on a more consistent basis. Since about 2018, I’ve been dropping pretty often on SoundCloud and since around 2022, I’ve had my music featured on all DSP’s.

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.

“Lil Bit” was influenced by Lute’s song “G.E.D.” I actually sat and wrote it in bed one night within an hour.

What message do you want to convey through your music?

Art comes in all forms. Music is forever.

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.

I had my own equipment and recorded it. But I felt like it’s rushed. Oh well, too late.

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?

Cyhi or King Los due to the motivation and inspiration they’ve given me.

Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?

My goal is to have all my songs reach 5k streams and drop more music videos.
