What’s your stage name and where are you from?
My stage name is Regenerative Ryan, and I’m from Minneapolis, MN.
What’s the story behind your stage name?
I have been public speaking about regenerative farming for the last 5 years while also working/volunteering at many biodynamic/regenerative/organic farms across the Midwest. This name came to me while presenting one of my most prominent PowerPoint presentations in my Chicago Toastmasters group, titled “Eating USDA Organic is NOT Enough.” (Can be found on my YouTube.)
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
It has been a harrowing journey as my music plunged me into the depths of the underworld to shine a light on the shadows of the food system, and also my childhood. I started my journey focused on bringing farming, health, and wellness tips to conscious awareness. However, it progressed into a deep discovery of suppressed emotions and ancestral trauma that took a long time to unravel with the help of my beloved community.
Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
I spent 10.5 months practicing conscious celibacy last year in pursuit of healing repressed sexual trauma that I uncovered from my childhood. In late April 2024, after a series of unsuccessful dating attempts, I began writing the lyrics to my new song “I Love You” and sang it in front of a mirror for 6 hours straight. This was the most powerful healing experience of my life.
What message do you want to convey through your music?
I spark synergy for soil and soul by helping people remember their true essence as one with nature. The Divine Feminine archetype is rising, fulfilling the Eagle & Condor prophecy, ushering in a new level of consciousness balanced with the Divine Masculine.
Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
My music is deeply personal and intense, so staying organized while processing my trauma was challenging. I leaned on family, friends, and audio engineers, and I am deeply grateful to Jungle AE Studios for helping with my albums, “Healthy Soil is THE Solution” and “The Dark Night of My Soil.”
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Eminem, hands down. He paved a path for white rappers in a hip-hop world that was predominantly designated for Black artists. His creativity and the comedic style he introduced shaped me in a major way.
Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
I have received repeated signs from God/Goddess that my audience will continue to expand. I would love to travel the world with a band and/or other artists to share Heaven on Earth vibes with more people.
What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
I am calling in more collaborations with conscious music artists who share similar empowering messages, and I am excited to co-create music that brings healing to the world.
We occasionally feature artists on our Bird of Paradise Podcast for in-depth discussions. Would this be something you’re interested in exploring?
Yes.
Are there any other promotional opportunities you’re looking for to boost your visibility?
Yes, I am open to all advice.
