Artist Spotlight: Rozart from Atlanta, GA

What’s your stage name and where are you from?
Rozart from Atlanta, GA.

What’s the story behind your stage name?
I’m a producer first, and I take a lot of inspiration from Zaytoven. Since my friends call me Ro, I thought Mozart with a twist would be cool.

Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
I’ve been producing for a long time, and I’ve worked with a lot of people—mostly local. I’ve started rapping recently to have fun and see if I can push the limits of my production style.

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
I’m building an EP based on samples of children’s nursery rhymes, so hearing the beats come together with the innocence of those old melodies is crazy.

What message do you want to convey through your music?
I like things to feel fun and free. I think music shouldn’t always be taken too seriously.

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
Mixing vocals has always been hard for me as a producer. I’ve learned to step back, take breaks, and get advice from other artists on how to make my work sound better.

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Childish Gambino. He does so many things outside of music, and his artistic range inspires me.

Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
I’d love to see my work on a major artist’s project or to start getting my beats out to a wider audience.

What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
I’m planning to drop my first full project and start putting myself out there more.

We occasionally feature artists on our Bird of Paradise Podcast for in-depth discussions. Would this be something you’re interested in exploring?
Yes.

Are there any other promotional opportunities you’re looking for to boost your visibility?
Definitely, anything to help grow.

Where can we hear/watch your most recent work?
Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.

What is the best way to contact you if fans want to give feedback or if other artists/producers want to collaborate?
Instagram (@rozartmusic).
