What’s your stage name and where are you from?
My stage name is TH3 ALMIGHTY Q, and I’m from Lynn, Massachusetts, but currently rapping out of Anchorage, Alaska.
What’s the story behind your stage name?
Q is my nickname, and the 3 in TH3 stands for “create art, make money & don’t be ill-willed.” It’s just some personal morals and goals I set for myself, and that 3 reminds me of them.
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
A lot of learning how to do things like marketing and producing music correctly. Not trusting anyone but the people who genuinely want you to succeed—many people out here will lie to your face just to take your money. Learning how to have faith in the process, especially at this point in my career where nobody knows who I am.
Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
Really just getting messages and love from people I’ve never met.
What message do you want to convey through your music?
That old-school hip hop will never die.
Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
Mixing the actual song is always a challenge. I am still learning and not proficient at engineering, so finding the engineer that mixes my music well is always a challenge.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
I’d love to collaborate with LA RUSSELL because of how much knowledge he’s got about the independent game.
Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
A little closer to being a successful artist.
What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
I would have to say getting more involved with content creation and getting familiar with promoters in my area to perform at local shows.
We occasionally feature artists on our Bird of Paradise Podcast for in-depth discussions. Would this be something you’re interested in exploring?
Absolutely, I’d love to collaborate.
Are there any other promotional opportunities you’re looking for to boost your visibility?
At the moment, I’m looking for an influencer on social media.
Where can we hear/watch your most recent work?
Spotify and Instagram are the main platforms for me.
What is the best way to contact you if fans want to give feedback or if other artists/producers want to collaborate?
Instagram or TikTok.
