What’s your stage name and where are you from?

Hi I’m Coulter and I am from Phoenix Arizona

What’s the story behind your stage name?

I actually used to go by psycho many years ago, but changed my style alot and Coulter happens to be my last name so I just stuck with what felt real for me.

Describe your musical journey in three sentences.

I started off as a choir boy when I was little, and transitioned into rap at about 14 years old. I fell in love with just about every genre of music and like to incorporate it all into my craft.

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.

Honestly with this track Cold Hearted Killer I had been going through a shift of dropping fake friends and acquaintances in my life and just metaphorically killed them off like it was nothing. So that was really the inspiration to the song.

What message do you want to convey through your music?

I just love the craft and have many messages throughout my songs. I do want people to understand I put everything Into music and just want to convey and give my wisdom and hope people can relate.

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.

Oh man the biggest challenges I ever fave when producing content is getting the exact sound from my head onto the track. Sometimes it works and sometimes you just have to compromise, but in the end it always works out.

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?

I would love to work with Joyner Lucas on a project. I feel his more cinematic approach to his tracks would fit well with the way I create content and we could really make something magical.

Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?

Honestly, I just want to be able to afford life comfortably with music, if it takes me further than that , great, but I don’t need the fame and a crazy amount of money to be happy at all.

What’s the next big step for you as an artist?

Shows, bigger collabs, and promoting every minute of the day until people realize I am HIM.
