What’s your name and where are you from?
Dazer Daze. San Diego California
What’s the story behind your stage name?
I have been Rapping since High School. I came up with the name Daze back then. People would call me Dazer or Daze. I switched it up to Dazer Daze Because a couple peeps I knew and seen were either using the name with art or music already. I had to stand out with authenticity.
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
Since I was 16 I did not do anything else in life other than study music, practice rapping, doing house parties and battling local MC’S. Second stage I graduated from Los Angeles Recording School, started a Record label and owned a studio. I took 9 years away from putting out music but this stage is the most potent of all “My Comeback”.

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
The one thing I always remember and still think to this day, is having your OWN thoughts are ideal. From back in the day if you sounded the same you were wack. You possess the “Power” to think differently and separate yourself from the crowd.
What message do you want to convey through your music?
Be your own person. Think out of the box. Try to motivate people. Most importantly be happy and have fun. Whether I make street music or conscience rap it will still be thought provoking music.
Behind the Music
Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
For as long as I have done music I have kept it in house. People I love and understand my passion for Hip Hop. With that being said My brother AK made the beat and he puts out production exactly how I like to work, consistently. With that consistency comes very little challenges. Just a volume of dope music.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
KRS 1. Whenever I have hung out with him or watched him perform I always feel the warmth and love for Hip Hop! I would love to have a record with an MC and legacy of that caliber.
Future Aspirations
Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
Hopefully it can keep stretching and doubling what I did last year. I just started doing performances again. So being on stage more often is a goal and a love of mine.
What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
I am currently finishing six projects. Consistency with the music drops, Music videos, content, clothing and performances is the goal at hand. This will be accomplished.
