What’s your stage name and where are you from?
Reg Mason.
What’s the story behind your stage name?
I was born, lol.
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
Punk – Electric – Concrete.
Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
I was living pretty free-spirited. The day I recorded this, my EBT card was finished, and I just found it funny, so I thought it’d be cool to stamp into the song at the beginning.
What message do you want to convey through your music?
There’s magic in the moments in between the moments.
Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
I was dead broke, moved back home after the dissolution of a relationship, and suffered a hand injury. All I had was this record—fortunately, through prayer and support, I came back a better artist in every way.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Jack White. His gender-bending tone of voice, eccentric look, and the way he approaches guitar in both a bluesy and primal manner.
Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
Wembley Stadium, if I’m lucky. But I’ll settle for Barclays Center.
What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
Expand my interests in other endeavors and do it all at the same time. Punk rock, stand-up comedy, filmmaking, etc.
We occasionally feature artists on our Bird of Paradise Podcast for in-depth discussions. Would this be something you’re interested in exploring?
Yes!
Are there any other promotional opportunities you’re looking for to boost your visibility?
Whatever slides across the table, I look at it twice.
Where can we hear/watch your most recent work?

What is the best way to contact you if fans want to give feedback or if other artists/producers want to collaborate?
@regkmason on everything.
