What’s the story behind your stage name?
When I first started I went by Slick because my hair was super slicked back. As I got better and developed my style it went to Vocabulary Slick because of my wordplay and Slick talk. Eventually that morphed into Vocab Slick
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
I started making music out of my Love for Hip Hop. I got serious because it became a therapeutic vehicle. Now I couldn’t imagine not making art and writing.
Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
I had a lot of fun writing this song with the Sole intention to impress myself. When I brought the verses to Starski we came up with the chorus which helped the song evolve beyond what I had even hoped for.
What message do you want to convey through your music?
Be yourself , we all posses the ability to overcome our current state
Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
I don’t really have any challenges besides the usual challenge to let go and stop overthinking the process.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Dre’s from Black Sheep he’s my personal favorite rapper.

In the hands of new fans and supporters.
