Beyond Life & Death is the 2nd collaboration between Toronto/Canada based Producer/Lyricist/Audio Engineer B1 The Architect, and Toronto based lyricist/MC New Villain. It will be released on all streaming platforms on November 21st, but feel free to spin the song any time after the 16th as it will help promote and build anticipation for the streaming and video release.
The song features an incredibly atmospheric and ethereal instrumental that evokes a strong emotional response. Angelic vocals, moody synth pads and punchy drums all combine to create an intoxicating flow state. Lyrically, B1 & New Villain wax poetic about the nature of their purpose as artists, and share uplifting stories about overcoming the adversity they’ve faced on their individual and shared paths. Both provide vivid, descriptive and memorable wordplay throughout their verses, and B1’s hook ties everything together with a catchy and relatable refrain.
