The Holiday Hoodlums aren’t your typical seasonal carolers. This powerhouse collective — consisting of Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha, Donny G, ILLtemper, Eclyse, Sadida, Jam Young, Tray Digga, and Ray Riley — operates as a tactical unit of underground hip-hop. Following their initial project, they have returned with their sophomore full-length effort, Season 2. Based around the vision of Skinny Bonez Tha Godfatha, the group spent 2025 dropping holiday-themed anthems, now curated into a single, cohesive package featuring a brand-new intro to set the stage.
In a world where major labels treat the fourth quarter like a clearance rack, The Holiday Hoodlums are doing something different. They aren’t chasing a fleeting viral moment or a sanitized radio hit. Instead, Season 2 represents the raw, unfiltered independent hustle. These artists understand that staying relevant in the modern era requires a relentless output, but they refuse to sacrifice the grit for the sake of the machine. They are proving that you don’t need a massive marketing budget to own a time of year; you just need a dedicated circle and a shared vision.
This project serves as a masterclass in how art functions as a tool for rebuilding community. While the mainstream industry often pits artists against one another in a race for streaming numbers, this collective leans into the strength of the group. By bringing together voices like ILLtemper, Eclyse, and Jam Young, they create a neighborhood of sound where every verse serves the neighbor. It is a reminder that the strongest foundations are built from the ground up, among peers who respect the craft more than the clout.
