Born Matthew Leeb, Werdperfect’s journey in music began in the Midwest. As a teenager, he honed his craft on stages throughout the region, performing with the rap group Anti Biter Coalition. Opening for underground hip-hop acts such as Tame One, SA Smash, Aesop Rock, Black Sheep, MF DOOM, Tha Alkaholiks, and Swollen Members, he quickly made a name for himself in the underground scene.
