It’s from my old neighborhood.

It’s been a great learning experience. I’ve met a lot of people along the way—some good, some not so good—but the not-so-good is part of the learning experience.

I had to create while trying to block out noises inside and outside.
What message do you want to convey through your music?
You don’t have to be like everyone else—being different is good.

Writer’s block. You just have to be patient.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Kanye West, because if you came to him with an out-there idea, he’d probably be interested in trying it out. He likes different.
